	I can only speak for myself, as a hetero woman. It isn't just "any man" that will do. Sure, I know I can get laid any day of the week if I am not picky. But then it is not longer enjoyable if it is "any man." And the journey does not necessarily end just because you find a worthy partner. I am finding I am comfortable with the idea of open relationships and polyamory. Besides, the only kind of ego boosting and flattery I believe in is sincere flattery and heart felt ego boosting. I detest manipulation of that kind and do not respect women who practice it nor men who are stupid enough to fall for it.

	Ah Sam, I kept hangin around here looking for a man like you,! But when that didn't happen I looked elsewhere! By the time I found what I was looking for, I'd made some really good friends here along the way! I pop in now and then to see how folks are doing, but I'm not looking for anything else here! On the bright side if I didn't pop in now and then I'd be wondering if you were still alive and kickin! Never use my old IM anymore so I hadn't talked to you in ages! Good to see you're still alive and well and just as onery as ever!

	It isn't just "any man" that will do. By the time I found what I was looking for I've heard that one more than a few times followed by buyer's remorse Ladies, learn to be happy by yourselves within yourself

	When I joined I said I was casually looking, but I wasn't really doing much of that. Just if someone caught my attention I might look that way, with no thoughts of actually finding anyone. I found something I never knew I was looking for......and I intend of hopefully keeping him. Now? I pop in here every now and then to chat with friends and to keep up on how they are doing. Maybe toss in a blog and sometimes read one that I might find funny, interesting or informative.

	I came here looking but it was a bad time in my life for a number of reasons that is too long and convoluted to tell. I couldn't have found a man of any sort back then (that's with hindsight) as I was so bitter, angry and had an attitude as big as Texas. I became addicted to Pervia and it was pretty much my life for a very long time. But it was good. I made some really solid friends who supported me through the illness and death of several loved ones including my mother. Like Bruce said, I needed to learn to live alone. But it isn't a matter of learning, it's a matter of accepting it, then enjoying it. Then I needed to find a life outside of Pervia and I did. I use to LIVE here but now it's just a nice place to visit. Leaving you a cookie...k?
