Even tho the end didn't come as predicted, yesterday seemed like it had to many. i've been thru one tornado in my life, and that was plenty. that was back in 1979, during what was called "The Red River Valley Tornado Out Break".
Here is a link on wikipedia Wichita Falls, Texas, April 10, 1979
And another one with numerous pictures pics of the tornado
and for an update on the continuing saga of my brother. his daughter, her husband and one other person will be leaving the salt lake area tomorrow morning and driving out here. should be in sometime wednesday. they are going to rent a trailer and take all of his stuff back there with them. they better be able to pull one hell of a big tailer. as it is, they have no clue how much stuff he has. but, after that, it's all their problem, not mine. and i've tried to warn them, but no one listens. sound familiar to anyone? you have my sympathies.
and the best part of all of it, we are supposed to be going thru some more thunder storms all this week. lovely weather to be moving in.

Mike have I missed something or it just your brother that is making a move? Last I heard you were trying to find a way to stay put.

Good to see you're alive and kicking still. I know the storms were moving on across southern MO, didn't know if they made it as far as your area before they turned North. I know we've got more coming this way, be safe and take care Mike!

They may want to slow it down as there are very serious storms forecast over the next two days and virtually all of Missouri is expected to see heavy action tomorrow. Stay safe people.

Personally, I think your brother moving to his daughters is a Godsend for you. He is going to need so much care down the line and it would be so hard for you to care for him with all your other responsibilities. Hopefully they can take all his stuff in one load then Mike...you can finally breathe knowing he's in good hands.
With that responsibility off your shoulders, you can get on with your own life and that's a good thing!! Take care of yourself and be safe...

I agree with Bruce, your brother and his family may want to wait a bit before making that trip. Weather looks like it's supposed to be nasty again that way.
And to all in the path of severe weather, please stay safe!
