I have an idea: I think we'd all be financially better off if the government let us keep the amount of the taxes we pay as deductions and sales taxes and let Unky Sam keep the net amount of everyone's salary!!

Milage Tax Proposal

Excuse me... but haven't we been paying taxes on fuel for decades now for transportation projects already or... am I missing something here... has the government forgotten what the billions upon billions of taxes for fuel it's collected over the decades is for... or, simply forgotten about them??? Do they think the citizens have forgotten about the fuel taxes, which accounts for a good portion of the cost of every gallon you pump into your vehicle? Will the government then drop the fuel taxes, if they somehow manage to push this lame idea through?
