Randy "Macho Man" Savage died today posted 5/20/2011 11:33:40 PM | 0 kudos what's this?     report abuse tagged: sad   sugarnspice005 It's a sad day in the entertainment/wrestling world for those who, like me, enjoyed the glory days of the WWF (now known as the WWE) with superstars like Macho Man, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, etc... Like the title of the blog says, Macho Man Randy Savage suffered a heart attack while driving his Jeep Wrangler, and his Jeep hit a tree. Macho died from his injuries. His wife of one year suffered minor injuries in the accident. Yeah, I know the stuff was fake, but, Macho Man was one of my favorites back in the day. This really sucks. 	Yeah, I heard this sad news early this afternoon. I remember when Ms. Elizabeth passed away a few years back as well.

	Years ago, before my Grandma died she met him quite a few times in West Virginia. To the point that he knew her name and would speak to her everytime he saw her anywhere in the arena. She loved going to wrestling matches and went every chance she got. I still have to shake my head at that one. She was in her very early 80's when she started going and quit just before her 90th birthday due to breaking a hip. Anyways, she said he was sweet as pie and not so tough after all. She said she knew it was fake but it was great entertainment and she met quite a few of them. He was one of her very favorites.... maybe they'll meet in heaven.

	Damned shame .... I'll never be able to snap into a Slim Jim ever again. Seriously I liked Randy & it's disappointing to hear of his demise.
