here it is, almost 9 a.m., and it looks like everyone is still asleep. i popped in to clear out the spam, and checked to see if there was anything else in the blogs since last night. nothing i wanted to go thru, including the blatant ad to go to another web site to view pics of MILIFs. no thanks.

so, i suppose i can at least put something in about the goings on around here, which ain't much. looks like my brother is going to come out with his daughter and her hubby to get his stuff. and i'm just going to let it all go without a complaint. let them deal with where to put it all. i know i'm going to catch hell for already disposing of a couple of things, like his electric meat grinder and a bunch of the pots, pans etc, he drug down here when he moved.

the leather shop stuff, well, i've looked thru a bunch of it, and the leather is moldy, not terribly, but still... not matter how dry a building is, if it isn't de-humidified, things are going to mold. i know that, but since he didn't care enough to do something about it, his problem. my problem is going to be how to hang on to this place, if i can. i'm still looking at the possibilities.

oh well, it has been peaceful around here, and the messes, well, they are mine. i'll be glad to have room to spread some of this stuff out so i can go thru it and sort my stuff out. i've got three rooms piled into one small one, and it doesn't take but a sneeze and it looks like i'm a hoarder or something. i don't need a lot of anything, but my tools. and those i have plenty of, tho i do keep looking longly at more. gotta stop that tho, i'm about out of room in the shop as it is.

the pasture is growing like a weed patch, with all the rain we have had, but the ground is so soft the mower won't go thru it with out spinning the tires on a slight side hill or bogging down at the least little bump. it really does need regular traction tires, not the turf tires it has on the back now. and weights. it will take a good week of dry weather for it to dry out enough to get it all done in one day. and not sure that will happen for another month or more.

that's about it for now, i'm not going to touch anything else, or do any real heavy cleaning till his stuff is outta here. so i guess i'll just try to get some of the dirt and leaves moved away from the wall outside the shop so it quits leaking. and maybe get the old roll up door replaced with something that don't leak as well.
