as the echo fades away................................................
Well, where in the hell is everyone? Geez...would think the weather was nice out there or something! Well, I guess for some, it is. Still cool and blah here. But..by the weekend it's supposed to warm up, and by Monday, Tuesday of next week, mid 60's to low 70's!
Yeah, ok, enough with the weather report. Next week is the last week of classes for this semester. Where did the time go? And yeah, I'm taking a little break from homework. I'm allowed. Got tomorrow off..so I'm thinking of MAYBE getting outside and doing some raking. Maybe clean out the little waterfall/pond and start working on getting that ready for the season. Hey..got my new pics approved finally. I was looking at the rock garden in the front yard..going to need to get new marble chips for it this year. uggg!!! Those bags are HEAVY, and, I need at the least, 8 bags for that thing. Already tried the whole "clean off the old ones"..didn't do a damn thing. Thinking of adding a few perennials to it too this year..maybe some of that silk grass I've seen advertised and some grape hyacinths. Pink had told me about some she had in her yard at her new place, and when I looked them up, I like them. I love their color. But alas, that all costs money..so, I'll see how far I can get with it. But I definitely need to get some new stones for the rock garden. Looking pretty gray and yuk this year.
Ok..just one little mention of weather. Cause last night was interesting around Michigan. In my area, rain and thunderstorms, and up north, they had winter storm warnings, with possibility of up to 10 inches of snow! Some of those thunderstorms got pretty loud last night, a few claps of thunder got Tazz barking. Goofy dog, she still hasn't gotten if figured out she can't chase weather away. I see my little daffodil is finally growing in the backyard. I'm thinking of maybe transplanting that in the front yard. Back when I had just Deifenbacher, that little plant was hardy, bushy, had like 4 or 5 blooms on it. Now, with the mutley crue, it's a little "thinner" and maybe 2 or 3 blooms before the dogs trample it. Brats. Got 3 rose bushes in the back I'm thinking of also putting into the front yard. Dogs don't mess with those too much. Wonder why? Couldn't be those thorns. And, wow! I took a good look at the old shed in the backyard. The winter was rough on it! It got beat to shit! I was telling Dad about it, so he's going to come over some time in the next week or two and take a look and see how much of it can be salvaged for a couple of years till I can afford to get something else up there.
So, looks like soon I'll be joining the rest of my Pervian friends with working outside and spending less time inside.
Ok...back to finishing up my homework.

The weather has been nice here in fact! I actually was off work yesterday and took the opportunity to plant some of the things I dug up and brought with me. I made a new flower bed along the front of the deck and planted a burning bush, an ornamental grass, 3 annabelle hydrangeas, 2 sedums, a couple of ferns, a daylily and a penstemon! It should be real pretty by next year surely...lol I bought some petunias (pink of course) and some other things to put in pots. It has been rather stormy here but we need the rain. I'm glad everything I planted got good and watered in over night!

Well, where in the hell is everyone? Geez...would think the weather was nice out there or something! I have checked in regularly and commented on every blog I found interesting. That should explain my lack of being very active. Our weather here is cooler but the air quality is horrid due to the wild fires out west of us. We did get a little rain here, but not much

I worked my fanny off yesterday doing inside work...rearranging and sorting, then last night I couldn't sleep. Got to bed around 1:30 and I was awake at 3:00. Finally got up about five. By this afternoon, after finishing details from yesterday, I crashed on the couch. Got up in time to get woke up, style my hair (got an early appt. with the ortho doc in the morning) then spent the rest of the evening with Susie when she got off work.
Now I'm off to bed and hopefully I'll be able to sleep, I probably won't be back here until afternoon Thursday.
Catch ya'll then....

I have been a little busy so I have not had a lot of time to stop in. Thought about blogging but nothing of interest to blog about.
The weather here is hot with a chance of more tornados headed in our direction. Fayetteville got kind of torn up in the ones last Saturday. A couple of neighborhoods were pretty much flattened to the north of where I live.
That's about it for me other than dealing with another bride from hell but that is another story.

I put a window in the greenhouse and have bee moving my seedlings out there. It has been around 50-60 with the sun out there and the ground is workable to 1 foot down. Sun is setting around 10.30pm now so spring is here in Alaska!
It's salmon derby time so running that takes most of my time and I am off to Fairbanks next week for Lions Club officer training as I was just voted President of my club.
On top of it all I have the local crud and my nose is running like a tap.
