Second generation perv... posted 4/13/2011 9:03:21 PM | 1 kudo what's this?     report abuse   PrincessKissy So, today I called my father, to give him my travel information (I finally have a move date, I'll be a resident of Idaho effective next Wednesday), and he was telling me how he had a virus on his computer. Seems he was "surfing naughty pictures online"... He's 83. I'm a little creeped out to know that not only does he still look at porn online... but that he feels comfortable telling me about it. *full body shudder* But, at least I know I come by it genetically, and I'm not some freak of nature. 	My dad is 90 YO, a retired educator with five Masters Degrees. He has not embraced the computer one iota...not interested. The guy doesn't even have an ATM card! But by the time you are that age, I guess one is entitled to call their own shots without judgment

	Isn't it funny how we don't think a thing about other men or women our parents age doing that, yet, if it's our own, it's "weird"? I know my Dad doesn't do that...he doesn't touch the computer he and my mom have. Mom is always online playing on Pogo. Mom is still in the amateur/novice when it comes to computer. Congrats on the move...hope it goes smooth for you.

	at least I know I come by it genetically, and I'm not some freak of nature Porn is a mega-billion dollar industry... more people watch porn than just about anything else. The ones that don't are the minority. People don't like to talk about it, but your dad doesn't have that hang-up which is a pretty good thing if you ask me. It's something we compartmentalize in our relationships with our parents.... to avoid the eeewwww factor in ourselves.
