I never paid for any in my life (what little I smoked) I hung out with musicians so there was always pretty much anything I wanted around. Did nothing for me so I was not about to pay for it.
I remember the first time I smoked anything was some Columbain and all my friends were getting wasted and I kept waiting to get high and nothing. I smoked some more and nothing. Then someone gave me some that had come out of somewhere in Mexico and nothing. I gave up and just drank some vodka.

Ahhh... if only the 60s and 70s would come back!
First time I tried pot was at a friends house about 35 minutes away! When I left, it was an hour and 15 minutes before I got home- I kept missing the streets I had to turn on to get to the house- that was fun!
You got what you paid for- the Mexican pot was like floor sweepings when compared to the better pot like ganja, acapulco gold and my favorite... thai stick!
But the best trip (you came back from, that is ) was blonde hash- loved it... convenient, easy to carry and smoke- break off a little piece, put it in your little brass pipe and toke!
Sure miss those party'n years!
