I thought that this would be interesting to see who our favorite all time president of our country is, whether it's the current president, or someone from the past in recent years. I would say my favorite all time presdient would have to be Reagan. The reason is because he came in at a time where our country was having so many problems with Iran, the jobless rate, and inflation. America's pride was at one of the lowest in recent years. Our defense needed built back up after cuts in it and he did that while president. I think a great military defense is one of the keys to such a great country. Other keys are creating jobs by reducing taxes as he did. Our economy did very well, and when Reagan came up for re-election he won in a total landslide. Reagan was very likeable with a very good sense of humor to him. He was a very good public speaker and a good man who believed in God. I don't expect people to hold the same views I do with this, and that is who my favorite all time president is. Now, what I would love to know is who yours is and the reasons you feel about your president. This is in no way meant for any debate on defending your president to others in comments, and we should all be respectful with who our picks are as your favorite president.

I'd have 2 say my favorite president is Millard Fillmore. Go figure...one man's do nothing is another man's favorite do nothing. U have 2 admit...doing nothing beats the hell out of starting a war in Iraq.

I still hold the belief that had the media not blown everything out of proportion Mr. Reagan would have been remembered as the greatest prez ever.. he would have gotten the hostages back.. fixed the middle eastern problem and actually managed to lower the defecit.. but as for faves? Gotta be Lincoln.

Oh, I just can't pick one. I love so many of them. JFK, FDR and TR are probably my favorite three.

It seems to me that the only person that everyone likes is Lincoln...and, to me, what is interesting is everyone thinks something different about him. Republicans are proud that he was a Republican...Democrats say that if he were alive today, he would be a Democrat...I've heard religious people say that he was our most Christian of any president, etc.
I think that it might just be that most people view him as the person who ended slavery, but suprisingly to me, nobody seems to be mad at him for starting such a bloody war.
Oh, by the way, Lincoln is by far my favorite... :)
