I did back in February. It was about a boxer, Daisy, who had been abused and left to die out in the cold after a blizzard. I'm proud to say that Daisy is doing much better, and she has a home with the lady who, after seeing a post on Craigslist about this dog, went out and looked for her. If not for this wonderful lady, Daisy's story may have ended differently.
Tomorrow, Daisy and her owner's have set up a meet and greet..so those who have donated, and followed Daisy's story can meet the little boxer who has grabbed the hearts of many. I actually donated $10 to help towards her vet bills...and while I'll not be able to attend the meet and greet because of work, I'm happy in knowing this precious girl got a second chance to know life can be good. She is looking a lot better these days.
I just hope people remember there are other dogs, cats, animals out there who, like Daisy, need loving homes. I look at my brats here, and, even though there are times they drive me crazy, I'm truly happy they are here. Besides, I like to tell them how lucky they do have it here.
Anyway...a couple of links to Daisy's "legacy".
