Reading back over some of the blogs, I understand that many of you out there are dealing with problems in your lives of one kind or another. Some from deaths in the family, or of loved ones and friends. For others it may be a terminal illness or sickness of one kind or another While still other may be dealing with family issues, financial woes or many other reasons.

So to all of you I have this to say and it's from the bottom of my heart.

I wish I could tie a yellow ribbon around your whole world, so that everywhere you turned you'd feel encircled by warm support, and everywhere you looked you's see bright possibilities.I'm sure you've had more than your share of grey days lately, and it seems so unfair. I wish I could blow those dark clouds away. But what I can do is surround you with caring thoughts-- a shiny yellow ribbon of of caring thoughts, tied up in a huge hopeful bow....Maybe even for a moment, you'll feel wrapped in the sunshine you so deeply deserve.
You probably feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders right now, and if you move the wrong way, It's going to come crashing down. That has to be an exhausting feeling, and I wish the load didn't have to be so heavy. But I want you to know I admire the way you keep on going and keep on doing what has to be done.
You might be thinking, what choice do I have ? But there are many who wouldn't be able to hold up under your circumstances, whowouldn't have your inner strength or convictions for doing the right thing.
I hope there will be pockets of time when you can find some relief and rest. I hope you will make every effort to take care of yourself, because you're a good person, and you're very special to many people

Please count me as one of them.

Lovely sentiments, thanks for sharing (sliding a greenie).

I think that our little online community serves as a very useful outlet for many. All of the things that you mention are realities for many. People do what they can do to deal with, alleviate, or change these conditions. Often, there are many hours where nothing further can be done.

It is during these spaces in time where people seek a diversion to get their minds off of the challenges and tribulations. That is where Pervia comes in.

Not to be a grand stander, but I have a new axiom these days in my life: Every day that you don't enjoy your life is one less day that you will.

I can't believe I missed this blog cause I would have surely commented on what a great person Chuck is/was and will always be. Heaven is blessed to have him!
I will miss you Chuck, your kindness, your humor and the beautiful words that came from your fingertips.

Very nice dad. You always shared your hear & soul with everyone, and always did what you could to help or support others who needed it. I was always very proud
to call you my Father. You raised us alone, and we never went without. You taught us to love and look out for each other. You taught us not to ever judge people by Race,
Creed, or Color. You gave us love and caring , and so much more. I only wished we had told you more often how much we loved and respected you. I will never forget
the things you taught us and how to live our lives.

Wow...what a coincidence this blog showing up when I was thinking about our dear friend NightOfOld, aka, Chuck. Even this very blog about the yellow ribbon. Yep, AMD sure changed after we lost you Chuck. You made quite an impact on a lot of our lives here just by your friendship.

I'm glad this profile is still up as I like to look back at his poems. Chuck always had a way with words.

Thank you LoveTester for keeping your Dad's profile here. He is still thought of by his friends here.

Hi Sugar !

Didn't mean for it to pop up. Was just posting my thoughts to him in hopes that somehow he would be able to view it.
The people on this site meant a lot to him. He often spoke about the wonderful friends he had here, and how in his later years with all his pain. You people with your kindness towards him, helped rid him of a lot of that pain. He loved you all.

He was a very fine man who did a lot for a lot of people, yet said next to nothing about it
