	I was out of it on flu meds for the most part yesterday except for taking care of my mom and hanging out on the computer from time to time. My youngest son did call from Iraq and I guess that was the best part of my day.

	My youngest son did call from Iraq and I guess that was the best part of my day . That's a good thing. My mother was very pleased to hear my voice from Iraq in Feb. 1991 on Valentines Day. Having gone through that experience from a mothers shaky voice relieved that her son is still alive during combat is a meaningful joyous gift to her on this day. I don't know the situation over there at this time but it doesn't matter it's still a risk & I'm happy that you got to hear from your son. It was just another Monday. Was it Manic ? I threw my sister for a loop yesterday when I called her & just said Happy VD when she answered the phone.

	It was my day off from work so I chilled out and relaxed most of the day. Did some homework, hung out here, that's about it. My damned dogs are such ingrates. Not one of the buggers got me anything for Valentine's Day.

	I had to work. We work all the holidays at the hotel. There were some beautiful flowers on the bar that dates got for their loved ones...they weren't for me. I bought dark chocolate hershey kisses for the restaurant crew, the kitchen chefs and crew, and for the front desk and valets. I think they were sppreciated. I do a treat for all every holiday so that everyone feels festive even if we have to work. I had s non date with my guy friend sunday night. he took me to dinner and fun was had by all. We have so much fun together it hurts. I did get a pretty valentines bag full of make up treats from a guest that likes me to wait on them. She is so kind. How thoughtful was that. So, all in all I had a pretty good weekend.

	My Valentine's Day was quiet and uneventful. I did receive some goodies...and some phone calls throughout the day...but I don't place huge expectations on this day. If I get something...or hear from someone special...I'm tickled pink because it's completely unexpected. I'm glad you had a constructive VD Flavor...but you should really get that itch checked out.

	I had my Valentine all weekend. Our anniversary is on the 12th so we just start early and keep on going. 10 years now.. wow.. whoda thunk anyone would put up with my shit for 10 years?

	Rob took me out to breakfast. Then I cleaned up after puppies all day Then a couple friends came over for dinner. After we kicked everyone out we had a nice bath together and some really awesome bedroom fun. Still sore
