I really wish the answer to that was "YES"  We've been hit with an Artic Blast and it's COLD!!! I didn't realize just how mild winter had been so far until these last few days with the single digit lows and sub zero wind chills! Yeah yeah, I know, I whine about it every year about this time..so what.  Don't want to read it...move on.
Of course, my dogs are just enjoying this. Brats. Times like this I wonder why I've got those fur balls.  I mean, it's cold today, high was 14, wind chill was -10, and there is Princess, outside today, ROLLING in the snow and having herself a good old time.  Goofy dog. Wish I could have gotten a picture of that, but, alas, my camera needs new batteries. The old rechargeable ones just don't have enough umph in them to recharge anymore.
Anyway, for any who is wondering...classes are going great. Of course, last week was only my second week, but, doing good. Homework has been relatively easy. So far. I get to do an opinion paper for the Business Law class later in the semester. That should be fun. I had found it amusing to have to take a class called "Internet Foundations", but, it's informative. Found out the Defense Department had been using the Internet LONG before us folks here even heard of it. Pretty cool. And the homework for this class...that's cool too! We do our homework online, then submit it online.  And my other class, Keyboarding. When I had taken this very class 15 years ago, I passed it with the ability to type 56 wpm with 3 errors. You know what? Don't use it much, and it's amazing how it gets "rusty". My speed to date is now 44 wpm with maximum of 5 errors!  Glad I took this class to "brush up" on my typing!
So, that has been my week. Work, classes, homework. Oh yeah, my front door "decided" it wasn't going to latch anymore...so my Dad was out here to help with that. Stupid thing. Now I've got to save up to get a new door and frame. Home ownership....gotta love it. Yeah, I know, comes with the territory..I get it. Well, that's it for now....I think I'm going get my p.j's on, dig out my blanket, and snuggle under it on the couch and find something to watch on tv.

Ho Hum..It's been in the mid 70's to low 80's here most of Jan. Lows in the 60's 
Supposed to get a one day cold front tomorrow with a high of 64 and low of 39.. 
Dec. was the coldest I've seen here for a long time..Muy  elec. bill more than doubled for Dec as opposed to Nov...Just a tad over a $100 bucks

I am sure that I will get bitched at, but that ain't going to cut it. Paralegals tend to run out at 80/90 WPM with less than three errors. Ninety WPM is a desired speed for a court reporter to transcribe the rate of speech for the average person.

I'm freezing my ass off and I'm sick again!!!!!!!!
I won't brag or anything but I can probably type about 120 wpm.... with minimal mistakes.... I can type just about as fast as I can talk..... 
I hope things keep going smoothly for your return back to school!!

Not bad... but I've met a couple ladies over the years that can do 280/310 wpm, with gusts up to 340/370 wpm... talking!

Nope, it's not spring here yet either. I don't mind it being cold as long as the sun shines and the wind isn't blowing at gale force... lol!
You typing speed will increase with practice and determination... just keep doing it. Going back to school is great... make the most of it.
I didn't know you were studying to be a paralegal. A lady I knew did that. To practice she recorded Judge Judy and other legal shows and typed during the proceedings... she said it helped her a lot to get her speed up and accuracy up while listening to her favorite shows!
