Yep, it's snowing here today. Not a storm, just a nice, relaxing, snow. The kind where it's nice to snuggle under the blanket and enjoy watching it fall to the ground. It's actually quite pretty.
What in the hell is wrong with me??? I'm enjoying watching it snow??? I better make sure I don't have a fever or something!! I'm the one who usually is whining or bitching about "bring on Spring" about this time! Actually, what it is, winter has been fairly blase' this year. Only one major storm and that was back in early December. Temps haven't been all that cold either...mainly in the low to mid 20's, although, there was that stretch where it was really cold. Here's how "mild" it's been....I never put the plastic over the windows this year..and I haven't had a heating bill over $200......................yet. And I've only had to dig out the driveway once. Dogs are a little disappointed I think....maybe not. There is a little snow in the backyard again, and I see Princess out there rolling in it and having fun...and Buddy and Tazz tossing what little bit there is up in the air with their noses then chasing each other around the yard. Now I know why I keep them around, they're entertaining. I really hope winter continues to be wimpy this year...it would be nice. As for Shawn and RJ who crave the snow....you can have it all!!! I don't mind it going your way. I know, this is Michigan, I'm sure we will be hit sooner or later with another storm.....I'll just hope it hits Ohio and North Carolina instead.
Got my van back yesterday. Dad took it in to have the struts on it fixed, and, he had the fan motor replaced on it. And, he discovered that there is fuse to the fan blower the loosens..and that was most likely the whole reason why the fan would work "when it wanted to". Goofy vehicle anyway. Sometimes I wish we just stuck with the old horse and buggy....then I remember what it's like to muck a stall... and...yep, I'd rather have the car. Of course, a motorcycle would be nice, except for 2 things...I've never driven one, and, that road rash can be some nasty stuff! And, it's not my driving I'd be worried about, it's the lunatics in those thousands of pounds weapons driving on the roads I'd be scared of. I see it all the time in the warmer weather months when the motorcycles are on the roads how they get cut off and such. People are in just too much of hurry, and they don't pay attention.
Ok...I've done my "ramble" for today. I eventually have to get out to the store and pick up some dog food...getting a little low here. Have a good day everyone and play nice. Well, try to at least.

It has been a long time since we had that beautiful type of snow that falls ever so softly with big lilting flakes that you just want to snuggle up and watch it with no worries. I love that kind of snow. We had very light flurries after Christmas, but the ground wasn't cold enough for it to stick. Thanks for sharing. I got a great visual. Enjoy your day!

Yep, it's snowing here today Beginning Sunday night, a front will move in here from Canada as it makes its way to the Gulf of Mexico. Good news and bad news for us. The good news is that there will be no rain, ice or snow. The bad news is that we will have a week to a week and half of nights where it gets below freezing with some days never getting above freezing.
Goofy vehicle anyway. I have a 1999 Ford taurus that has a defective cam sensor that causes the check engine light to come on intermittently. It has been happening for six or seven years and most of the time it is off. The car runs fine. It was on when I went to get the car inspected on Monday and it failed inspection because of it. I am afraid to find out what that could cost if there isn't an easy inexpensive fix.

disconnect the wire to the check engine light That won't address the problem. In a state inspection, they tap into the onboard computer and read its report. I had thought about disconnecting a battery terminal to reset the computer. But a friend of mine had tried that and it didn't work. I have since contacted my mechanic that I have used for eons. He also said it wouldn't work and it was one to two hundred bucks to fix it.

Rhonda really needs to move....NORTH!!!!! I agree. Now if you will just tell me how I am going to convince my 90 year old mother that it won't kill her to live above the Mason Dixon line we are in business. Trust me we have had that conversation and it did not go well.
