Happy New Beer!!!! Do You Believe In Renincarnation?? posted 1/1/2011 7:53:34 AM | 0 kudos what's this?     report abuse   onehornytoad69 Happy New Year Everyone!!! Do you believe in "Reincarnation"? I ask this ..because..... On Tuesday of this week......I had 1/2 of the Curtains Pulled back in my living room.. .so I could keep a Eye out for Blackie...if he ever seems to bless me with his Presence again!!!!!! BTW....I was told by a Local..that rides the roads....that he saw a Dog that fit blackies Description on Monday evening...2 miles from my Home...with 2 other dogs!!! But noone in that area has seen him!!! Anyhow.... I was cooking breakfast on tuesday...and I heard something hit my front Picture window......, kinda like a thud...type of Noise!!! I looked up and saw nothing!!! Then it Happened again........and again!!! It was a Red "Cardinal" (Bird) He would fly into the Window....Pecking....... Sometimes he would sit outside the window Pecking like crazy on the Glass!!! I closed the Curtains....because I have had Many birds fly into my Window, some it would hurt...some it wouldn't!!! One time I had a Starlin Fly into my Full Glass storm door....and shattered it to a million pcs!!! The Picture window is a double pane gas filled window!! Its a lil tougher than the storm door...Thank God!!! Well his Pecking on the window went on for 5 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF????? Let me back up a little bit..... !! Since blackie has been gone...I put a dish of food out on the ft. Porch for him....., but the Birds....have been eating it like crazy!!!! Mostly Cardinals and Blue Jays...., they would eat everything but the Doggie treat....that was in the dish!!!! I have filled it 3 times....., Now I just leave the Doggie treat in the dish!!! Feeding the Birds Dog food...cost more than feeding the dang dog!!! But anyways...... Could it be "Reincarnation" of a Loved one? My Mom sure did love her birds!! Humming Birds were her fav. but she loved all of them!!! My Baby sis loved Angels.... could it be her? Maybe Blackie is dead...could it be Him? The animal Patrol told me the "Coyotes" have taken over my area...and its likely he was taken by them!!! But I'm still looking for him! I'll take care of these damn Coyotes....very Soon!!!!! 	I have seen cardinals attach their reflection in the window. They are only around here for a couple of months beginning around February before migrating north.

	A bird will always peck at their reflection in glass. And I have never known one to pass up free food. If Blackie met up with some feral dogs he may be traveling with them. I would say that is more likely than the coyotes unless he took a fancy to a female coyote. I have known that to happen a few times.

	I see a lot of dead birds around all the glass buildings I baby sit due them playing Kamikazee I'll take care of these damn Coyotes....very Soon!!!!! Do you Believe? I do believe !!! My dad was given a beagle hound pup the last survivor of a litter that was attacked by coyotes.

	There used to be a cardinal that pecked at my window in the kitchen. It was cute for awhile...but, when she left I missed her. I am sorry you haven't found Blackie yet. I guess you drive around the area everyday looking for him...I know I would. I sure hope he comes home.

	I'm sorry Blackie has not returned home yet! My two dogs escaped out the sliding glass door in the summer of 2006....I was petrified of losing them. I thought I'd never, ever find them! Luckily, I did find them. Right near the two "ponds" we have in our apartment complex. Boy did I beat their seaties! (Not really because I was too happy to see them and them getting out was my fault to begin with LOL) My cousin in Dana Point, CA, has trouble with coyotes all the time! She has four cats and the cats are NEVER allowed out in the backyard for fear a coyote will grab one of them! I'm not sure about Reincarnation. I believe in Karma. What goes around, comes around, that kind of thing. The older I get, the more open-minded I become about things that are different, things I don't understand very well.

	Thanks everyone for the comments!!! I guess you drive around the area everyday looking for him.. All I can Bunny...but with gas at $3.00 a Gallon...I really can't afford to do too much riding around!!!!
