Yep, I'm working New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. And then after this.............it slows right down to almost nothing. My schedule for next week is pathetic, only working Saturday and Sunday next week.  Oh well.....after the last 2 1/2 weeks, I'm actually looking forward to some time off!!!  Been so busy with work, and tired when I get home, that I haven't kept up much with work around the house except for the basics...dishes, and laundry. Ok, I sweep every other day, maybe 2 because of the dogs. But,  , I looked at my dresser today, and the dust on it, I could write my name in it!   Yep, I know what I'm doing next week....getting my house cleaned back up! 
Anyway, I'm looking forward to 2011. I'm going back to school to finish my Legal Assistant degree. I had been taking classes for it back in '95 when I started work at the hotel and later met Mick...and between work and Mick, I kind of put it on hold. Well, I've decided to go back and get it finished this time. I'm already half way there, and I'm taking some "refresher" courses. I'm looking forward to it. I've always known that I didn't want to clean hotel rooms till I retired...HELL NO!! That is one hard ass job!!! Not meant for the lazy that is for sure. I would like to move up in the company I work for, but, if a better job comes along, I'll take it. Besides, I'm not that 29 yr old that started back in '95...and nowadays, I feel the aches more than I did back then and it really sucks. It's not that bad really, but, it's a wake up call....that I can't do this forever. It's a job that can take it's toll on the body. So....I'm thinking more of nice desk job... 
As for the new year.....my resolution is to get all A's in my classes.
Here's hoping 2011 is the year of good things to come.

I have faith that you'll do great when you get back to school and I hope you get back this coming year! It'll be rough but you can do it! Just keep your eye on the future goal....and with your foot in the door there already, the possibilities could be great for you!

I am working a split today 5:30am till 11am then go back in at 4:30 till 10pm. Off the weekend. Next week don't look to bad for us. I wish you oodles of luck in class and I know you will get all A's. Just remember if they off an internship you gotta take it! I didn't and that is why I am still waiting tables. NO EXPERIENCE
