So what are some of the best gifts you give others and recieve as well. Doesnt have to be just through the holidays any gift that is worth mentioning????

These were all to different people but,

2 cars,
5 hand guns,
1 camp trailor,
Antique China Cabinet
and over $30,000 in cash.

But in my opinion. The best gift I can give is my heart, and lots of love.

I remember one Christmas my little brat of a brother was going apeshit. That year they had released competing video game consoles (the Super Nintendo and the Sega) and a whole bunch of other noisy shiny crap that if he didn't get it he was going to feel slighted and pitch a tantrum.

But when my parents asked me what I wanted they were dumb struck. All I wanted was my own hard-backed copy of "The Lord of the Rings." Here my brother wanted hundreds of dollars worth of swag and all I wanted was a book. They couldn't believe it. They even tried to talk me into wanting more stuff.

The big day came and there was a lot of stuff under the tree, but the reason I was happy was because for once I got exactly what I wanted. I mean, really, how often does that happen?

The best gift I ever received was a bike when I was 6. Not just any bike. It wasn't fancy with streamers or a basket. It was bright metallic blue, and my dad had built it. We were just pretty damn poor back then (like things have changed that much! lol) and dad built me the bike so I could ride with the neighborhood kids. It had no brakes, wore out alot of tennis shoe soles stopping! But without the brakes I could also pedal it backwards! While the other kids may have had 3 speeds and such, all the kids wanted to ride mine at some point in time! It was much heavier than a normal bike so Gawd help you if you let it fall on you.......but I must have rode a million miles on that thing before I outgrew it!

The best gift I ever gave would be a toss up between my son's first puppy when he was 2, or his first electric guitar, and Ibanez when he was 13! The look on his face both times was one of such happiness and wonderment that it was worth cleaning up after the puppy and hearing the same songs over and over for months on end!!

Everything I want, I buy for myself or eventually get around to it. My best gift is true love, as in support and affection from my dearest friends. Better than an mp3 player that'll will die on you sooner or later.
