Well for the first time in just about 20yrs...the MSP airport has shut down due to blizzard conditions!

This is a BLIZZARD! I haven't seen the likes of weather like this since the Halloween Blizzard of 1991 when we got popped with 2 feet in a 24 hour period! Looks like we are headed in that direction once again!

So here I sit sipping on Baileys n coffee waiting this storm out! I would have to get out n play in it if it weren't so windy...but thats a nasty wind a blowin out there!

...that is serious! Stay warm and enjoy the sight, but I know it is dangerous when it gets to closing the airport. My sister lives in Bloomington...I better call her.

I must say..I have lived here all my life...and this is about as bad as I remember it! I have watched car after car get stuck in the entry way of my complex, and not ONCE has a plow gone by....just heard on the news that they pulled them off the streets!

So...No airport, No metro transit, no plows....I think we are getting pretty close to a stand still......

Now if only I had planned this one better....I would be stranded with a big warm man next to me or he would be here!

Compared to you...we're getting a wimpy snow storm. Calling for 7 to 11 inches by Sunday night, and winds will be picking up to 25 to 30 mph Sunday nigh. Yay...and I have to work Sunday and Monday.
