Elizabeth Edwards has passed away....

I just seen on the Today show this morning that she had taken a turn for the worse and now she's passed on. She showed such dignity and poignancy throughout John Edwards run for VP and even during the scandal involving his affair that produced a child. She was told they were out of options in treating her breast cancer that had spread to her liver. May she finally get some peace that the media and tabloids didn't allow her while she was sick.

I had just heard on the news yesterday that her doctors told her she had "weeks left".....and today, she's gone. And so close to the holidays too....my heart just goes out to her kids and her family.

RIP Elizabeth.

A statement was released just yesterday, or so- I guess she was on her way out at that point. At any rate, she's at peace now.

Many could learn a thing or two about how to be gracious and kind and keep your reputation when life is causing you struggles. She was an elegant woman. She will be missed I send my thoughts and prayers to her family. They will always love her and she will not be forgotten.
