But I'm still in the dang kitchen cooking!!!  I wanna play too dammit!! Wonder how much she charges... maybe we could set her up with the network model guy paying 60 bucks an hour.... 600 hour minumum remember! 
So today I went to Walmart (yes skwirl,, the dreaded Walmart).... even had to hit the pharmacy.........  But we got the fixins for sausage balls... guess what we had for dinner tonight?? I guess the chili will hold til tomorrow night but right now, I'm about sick to death of chili AND sausage balls... ya'll want some?!?!? They're really good!! The key... hot pepper jack 
My Mom.........*sigh* she's going thru chemo again at this time and God love her, she has lost her hair.  I don't know if it's falling out and just breaking off... she's got a peach fuzz all over her head... she wears a cute little hat.... but she looks pitiful.... I want my Mom back .. and healthy... my heart is broken right now..... she sure was proud of those sausage balls tonight though! 
Still haven't talked to my daughter... I'm hoping she'll come around soon... it's been almost 3 months..... my heart is broken there too.
My tolerance level is rather low right now so please forgive me. I try not to bring my personal life into the blogs but most of ya'll know about Mom...
So then... Mitzi has been sick sick sick too! Went for an EKG the other day, they think her heart is acting up.... she's having gastro problems and I guess all that comes with the dermatomyositis. I'm going over tomorrow to help her decorate her tree cause she has family coming in for Thanksgiving.
I have another friend who is going thru a hard time, with her Mom as well. I don't know if I blogged about it back a year or so ago but her mother has gotten scammed.. big time! 27,000 dollars last year...................well, since July of this year, they've gotten her for another 60,000 dollars  this just infuriates me!!!!!!!!! to no end! I have an aunt who was getting scammed. I just don't know what people are thinking by allowing themselves to be scammed.......... 
There's nothing that can be done, these people will not be caught so please everyone... talk to the older folks in your life about these things!! Tell them you don't have to send money to win money! That's not how it works!!
Anyway... just had to rant for a moment... I'm done now!!

older people get swindled because they think they can handle their financial situations on their own.......and to a most point many can but anyone who is getting an offer "too good to be true" should have someone else look into it before they do it.........many of these scammers get by with it because people are too embarrassed to report it........and the sad fact is many times its people in the class bracket of not rich but not poor either so every penny isn't taken into consideration............the thing is If it sounds to good to be true........it usually is.

Yeah.. that's one of the biggest rules we should live by... if it's too good to be true, it probably is!
Kay's Mom has been talked to, warned about it, bitched out!! Heck one of the local tv stations had their consumer advocate come out and talk to her! Her story was on the news! It even made the Yahoo news!! She's been told and told and told and told that it's nothing more than a scam! The scammers called while Kay was at her Mom's house... said Mom sat there and just carried on a conversation with them... and then asked "How much is this going to cost me?" .... Kay was ready to choke her! Kay could possibly lose her house over all this!! Her Mom ran up a tab for this shit on a home equity line..............

Pink I am sorry to hear about your mother I can relate to what your going thru has a daughter will keep her and you in my prayers as for your aunt maybe close family member can get power of attorney . Now for those sausage balls keep them hot I am only 3 hours away

LOL What do I look like? Krispy Kreme with their "hot now" neon sign?!?!?!?  (ok, if you've never seen a Krispy Kreme donut shop, you won't know what I'm talking about..... )
I'll throw a few in the toasters oven for you!! I swear they are better out of the toaster oven than out of the regular oven the first time they are cooked! 
I just got off the phone with my Mom! And I even sent my daughter a text message! I'm trying I'm trying!!! ....  She just asked me by text if I would come over and see her tree when she gets it decorated....

You're such a good friend...and such a wonderful daughter Ms. Pink. Your loved ones are very lucky to have someone like you to help them out in their time of need.

As for your Mom, I'm sending lots of hugs and adding prayers that everything gets better really soon.
One of my best friends went through chemo a few years ago..actually almost 7 and while she was bald we drew pictures on her head of hair.... And she had some really cool scarves that we all got her as gifts.... She likes retro and tye dye, so you can imagine what some of them looked like.
