Rj's Television blog kinda inspired me to post a game with TV as a subject......

below is 20 sitcoms (nothing but sitcoms lol) past and present...........I have given you some hints as to what they are......some are easy some are hard.....and you can post your answers in the comment section.............there is no prize for the one who answers it the fast and correct.............just thought it would be a fun thing to do.............

so here goes.........good luck to those who want to join in.........

1. Son Named Ricky...first aired in 1952

2. Main character was John astin..only lasted two seasons was parallel in theme to another show that ran at the same time

3. Single Father who also has to help his brother, Show was later taken apart and redone as a show called Two and a half Men

4. Main character played by Dabney Coleman, received 11 Emmy Award nominations.

5. A show that centered around the Conner family that covered taboo subjects (for that time period) like teenage pregnancy, drugs, and homosexuality.

6. Lasted one season, starred Tony Franciosa and was named after a major Holiday.

7. Motion Picture Executive Warner who was hen pecked by his wife.

8. Starred Jack Klugman who was divorced, aired in 1986-1987

9. This show co-stars a rich socialite who is a drunk, stars Debra Messing as a interior decorator.

10. Show with a widowed mother and loosely based on the Cowsills

11. Set in Milwaukee WI, based on an idealized vision of life of teenagers in mid-1950s to mid-1960s America.

12.Oliver Wendell Douglas, Lawyer moves to the Country from NY...Was originally going to be called Country Cousins.

13. The pilot was orignally called Keep it in the Family, Lorillard's Kent cigarettes in its first season and starred Jane Wyatt.

14. Situated in Cleveland Oh on of the costars is Mimi (Kathy Kinney), a large woman with clownish wardrobe and make-up.

15. 4 women living together in Miami, received 65 Emmy nominations, 11 Emmy awards, four Golden Globe Awards, and two Viewers For Quality Television awards. All the lead actresses won Emmy Awards for their performances on the show.

16. Dunner Mifflin Paper Company stars John Krasinski who was basically an unknown until this sitcom

17.This will be an easy one..........Norm, Bar, Boston

18.Two different Darrins, Paul Lynne and a noisy neighbor by the name of gladys

19. Two brothers, one who everyone treated great and the other who was jealous of his brothers attention, Brad Garrett costars

20. the longest-running comedy (or series of any genre) with a predominantly African American cast in the history of American television...dry cleaner

Great blog, Dayna...remember our sitcom contest? That was fun! Kudos for you. I can only take a running shot at a few as much after the seventies I blew off sitcoms. My answers are in bold:

1. Son Named Ricky...first aired in 1952

I Love Lucy

2. Main character was John astin..only lasted two seasons was parallel in theme to another show that ran at the same time

The Addams Family

3. Single Father who also has to help his brother, Show was later taken apart and redone as a show called Two and a half Men

KitKat..........You sure about number 7? Action is a comedy series about a Hollywood producer named Peter Dragon, who is trying to recover from his last box-office failure. And as for number 3 although Full House is on the same theme........it didn't inspire Two and a half Men....... Good Job tho..........come on I know you can get the rest.......

7. I thought it was Action because I thought Peter Dragon was an executive and I remember his ex-wife being a pain in his ass.
