What a day can bring.
I worked today...got home, and the duplex across the street from my house is swarmed with cops..both marked cars and unmarked cars. They hung around for a good 3 hours or so...it was quite "fun" trying to get into my own driveway. Had to wait for the officer to move his car. And I still have no clue as to why they were over there. Cops don't just tell ya what is going on when you ask...unless of course you are part of the investigation.
I get in the house, the usual insanity of 5 happy pooches wanting to go outside routine. Sasha, she flies up at me when I get home...all I see is these big brown eyes coming at me. And, when the commotion settles down...I see bloody paw prints on my floor. After a looking at paws....I discover Buddy managed to get a boo boo. That was real fun trying to clean for him. Brat kept pulling his paw back...and I was gentle too! But, I won, got it cleaned up and even have a bandage on it...and have to remind Buddy he can NOT chew the damn thing off.
And at work today, our supervisor warned us that the week of Thanksgiving is busy...which means we will have a full work week, and possibly the following week. This working only 2 or 3 days a week really sucks. Yeah, I get unemployment, but, I'd rather be working. I've been trying to find another job around here..but, with this economy..no one is hiring. So...I'm planning on returning to college, finish my degree for Legal Assistant...and take it from there.
Oh yeah....and it's been a bit cool around here lately....but not too bad..yet. I've seen it get really cold around here in November...I remember some Novembers as a kid where there was a LOT of snow on the ground. With the chilly nights, I've been getting my "snuggly" blanket out and cuddling up on the couch to watch tv...and of course..I've got both Tazz and Apache joining me. Sometimes Sasha gets to the couch before Tazz. I have to laugh watching those two vying to be the first to the couch. Brats.
Well..that's my ramblings for today.

the duplex across the street from my house is swarmed with cops..both marked cars and unmarked cars Hell, I see that every day here on my block.
As for the weather, we're in for a real soaker starting tomorrow. A low pressure is forming in Oklahoma with tons of moisture that will be moving this way. Tuesday night it's expected to clear out and back to sun Wednesday. We had some frost and fog roll in overnite. As soon as the fog rolled in the frost started melting a little.

Beginning a couple of years ago, whenever anything like that goes down the police will send out a letter explaining what the matter was all about, who got arrested, etc.

The police department called everyone in our neighborhood to tell them there has been prowlers and break ins in our neighborhood and to be careful. So what else is new in Fayettenam? LOL Next month I am getting a little girl to help protect the place. A lab, pitbull, and australian sheepdog mix whose nickname it Trouble. Trust me the name fits her personality.
The weather here is warm in the daytime and cold at night. Wish it would make up its mind and stick to a season for a change.

Yep...crime is interesting...I sat on the porsh in my jammies too...with a smoke and a beer watching my blood streaked neighbor get arrested for fighting his pit bulls...for the THIRD time! Guess who called the cops???...me...muah...!Yep and I will do it again and again and again! He tried to say he cut hiself and no fighting was going on. There was blood everywhere and a dead dog in the back yard with other fighter lighting through the back fence so as not to get caught. I am really surprised he hasn't come back to kill me. I watched him beat his girlfriend up one night and called about that too...I will do it again too..I will die for it and be proud!

Not saying this is what the dog RJ is describing will look like, but here's an idea of what it MAY look like:
Australian Sheepdog mix
Could look close to any of the pups in those pictures.

I will never forget the noise they made when there so called daddy owner fought them in the backyardit was torture..for me, but for the dogs even more so

...all this didn't happen today! It was between 1995 and 2000...no worries...no sign of him now...but the neighbors do have 2 pits they never walk or talk to and they were out in the heat all summer and look very sad. I called about them and haven't seen anyone show up to do anything so all winter I will probably her their screams through the rain and freezing cold...I am just going to have to keep calling till someone comes and takes them. What is it with that house. There is always someone living there that abuses animals!!!!!!!!

She looks like the dog in the picture that Sugar posted except you can also see the pitbull in her. She was born on October 10 so she is still a baby but when I was holding her and my ex came towards me she showed her teeth and growled at him. (That's my girl ) She is one of Lola's 10 puppies. When I went to see them last week she was the one that walked right up to me and crawled up in my lap. It was all over and I fell in love with her.
