Ok...I'm tired. Let me rephrase something:

That should be:
I been MISSING summer for a month now!
What can I say? Today was supposed to be my day off...and here my supervisor called me this morning to come into work..so I'm tired. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Also....I'm gonna proof read this one before I post it!

Well.. with tomatoes.. yeah! But there are a couple of guys set up on the side of the road every day still selling corn and apples....... I'm gonna stop and get some corn for Thanksgiving dinner......and apples.... I'm thinking of trying my hand at some thinly slice apple baklava!! did I spell that right?!?! LOL I have a great recipe that I want to add some apples to... that would be yummy!....

The growing season Here Sucked!!! I had cherry maters out of the hinnie!
Hail...beat my Big maters down, and broke the vines.... 
Hot Peppers and a few Cukes is all I got this year!!!! 
I lost monies! 
Oh..an BLT...with "Fresh" Mater....would be better than sex!
Fuck.... maybe I should move to Mexico...Its Warm....I can get Maters...I'm sure sex is cheap....  ......

Check around you'll find someone with a greenhouse that's growing some home grown maters!]

I would love to have my own little garden here..but I know my dogs would be in it. Hell, the weirdo's actually ate most of the raspberries growing between my yard and the neighbors...and my little patch of strawberries...brats ate them too! 
I got a lot of my tomatoes from my parents last summer..they had bunches of them last year, along with cucumbers and green peppers.

During the winter months, I will eat a can of tomatoes if I feel like it...and I do love tomatoes!!! They are good out of the can... add a little salt and pepper and parsley of course... maybe a little olive oil.........yum!!!

I still have tomatoes on the two vines by the front door. It is on the west side of the house where it is warmer. Unless we have a freeze I should have fresh ones for Thanksgiving. Also still harvesting my scotch bonnet peppers.
Soon enough I will have to move plants into the greenhouse to extend the growing season for another month or so.

Mmmm...I love those summer tomaters too Pink.
But I love the fall too...and I'm really enjoying all the vibrant colors and cooler temperatures right now. Well...at least we have Thanksgiving and Christmas to keep us occupied during the cooler months. 
When's dinner Pink? A grilled cheese sounds yummy right now.

Your not the only one who misses a fresh tomato, i have a small garden with about 3 or 4 tomatoes still on the vines, black from the frost, not much good for a lettuce and tomato sandwich now

lately we've been buying vine ripened 'maters, you buy 1/2 a dozen on one of them stupid plasic trays at the supermarket and they're still all joined together by the vine, and surprisingly seem to have a load more taste even though they are hot house versions that are usually tasteless.
* try a sanga with a slice of cheese, slice of ham, slice of 'mater, sprinkle of parsley flakes and garlic salt

I think green grannies would be great with Baklava...sounds great ..good call. I want maters!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so with you on this..but still it is so warm here that a mosquito just stung me...wtf??????????? anywho... I love Tomato Caprese. Thick slices of tomats and buffalo mozerella with pesto and balsamic on top and I love to addPine nuts...yes..better than....bourbon!...and I love my bourbon. ...guess who stayed at the hotel tonight...3 different actors and show people...tell ya later...  ...oh...and I waited on one....slept with the other...and serviced the third!
