I went to my regular dentist office yesterday for a cleaning...good news, i have no plague or tartar! According to the hygenist, she has seen teeth as clean as mine, but few and far betweet...  , My thought was "if they are so freaking clean, why do you keep scraping with that pointy thing"
the bad new...remember my loose crown...the reg dentist said he could remove the crown, oh wait, ive left out some important details..i had a root canel on this tooth, topped off with a porcline crown...about 2 thousand buckeroo...i made payments...now back to the reg dentist, he can remove the crown, try to rebuild, and hopefully reuse the crown, and that will work for "a while"|???? yeah, how longs a while...price $700..fuck
so today i ask the oral surgeon that i work for to take a peek...fuck again...he says the tooth is "nonrestorable: i told him what reg dentist had said and he agreed the key words were "a while"
but he said he would pull it on thursday after work,oh excuse me, they dont say pulled anymore...it's extracted... and would put in an implant for free,...yeah, he's a really good guy...called it the "family discount"
but an implant only includes the actual implant, which is basisly a screw implanted into the bone, and hopefully it will take root, so to speak..and lol...then a crown is put on top of the screw...but we dont do crowns...that has to be done at your reg dentist...the cost of a crown at my reg dentist $1020.00...fuck!
so for $700, i can get something that will last "a while" or for $1020.00 I can get a perm fix..
have i mentioned this is the second tooth ive had problems with in less than 6 months, after thousands of $ of dental work...when anyone compliement my smile (and lots do, and i thank you) i always think for $18000.00 yes, 18 thousand $ you could have one just like it, but i had very very good dental at that time
so in closing...fuck!
