	I recently had a loose crown over the summer. It was noted that it was loose , but other teeth needed filling at the time. I never made an appt to deal with it, so it fell out once when I was chewing gum in early September.. Put it in my wallet. My dentist scrunched his eyebrows as he poked at the post it had been connected to. Told me it was short and I should probably have a 2nd root canal and get a new post and crown. Hr re-cemented it with a temporary cement. I even went to an endodontist. I asked if this could wait til next year. He said maybe. Actually, he said not to worry if it did n;t bother me. I have a 2nd tooth with a cracked filling that needs a root canal too. It can wait too. I am real careful with the jagged edge where that tooth is cracked. ..
