Well hell, the motor for the saw isn’t here, i'm running short of funds as usual, and nothing seems to want to go right, or at least not the right I want it to go. Seems to be a mix up in which right is right. I thank all of you that have looked at the stuff I’ve made and thought well of it. Believe me it feels good to know someone likes it besides me.
But, tonight is not one of my better nights, and no one reason covers it all, I’m just down a bit. Soooooo, gonna sit here and type while I get acquainted with the Captain again. Something I haven't done for a while, and normally wouldn't do. But gotta have something to keep my 3 brain cells working, for a little while I guess.
I got the new planer blades today, so that is up and running again, was trying to get a demo clam shell box made, taking pics of each step, but since I cann't take pics and work at the same time, it was going to take a while. Got a couple taken, and was going to hog some more of the inside out, and oooooooops. I sprung a leak. The piece slipped and pulled one of my fingers into the forstner bit I was using.
Now a normal little leak, is no problem, I put a band aid on it, wait 5 minutes and the leak stops. This one tho, I could tell was going to take a bit more. So, first I grab a clean paper towel, wrap it in that and then get t looking for something a little better. Find some old but sealed baby wipes from my driving days, and used one of them. Ok, get it wrapped up, the leak slows down, and i'm looking to see what I have that I can secure it with. Wide Duck Tape, nope to hard to get started, and wide as my finger, teflon pipe thread tape, nope won't stick, ahhhhhhh, black electrical tape. That I can at least get a little unwound and started.
Take my word for it, it works, but damn it is stiff. Any way get the leak stopped, and tried to continue, but the damn thing kept wanting eat my fingers some more, and almost succeeded. Twice more in fact. So I thought it was about time I called it quits before I got a really serious leakage problem.
So I shut down out in the shop, came in and started going over a few blogs, looking at a couple of profiles, and thought a drink or three might be a better alternative to bleeding all over another piece, even if it is just going to be a junk item. Checked out a couple on here and another site i'm on, and nothing that might even faintly be promising. Which isn't unusual.
So, go get a little coke and CM. And believe me it is very little cola, look around some more and decided to bwi. At least this makes more sense than whapper does. So far anyway. I'm just getting a start on the cola and rum.
Hmmm wonder if I can run him off the page with bullshit, drunken, nonsensical blogs that mean nothing? Do I dare try it? Or should we all do that, just post a quick blog and not worry if it is read, and don't even think of what it might be about? That is the only way I can think of right now to keep that b.s. out of sight.
Now what else, i've still got a BIG glass here to finish, and all night to rant, rave and pour non-sense out.
Oh well, i'll start another one here in a few minutes, just to see who the hell I can piss off. Be it mods or anyone else. I'm sure I have a few thoughts sure to cause lots of fireworks. But would that be me? Yuup.
