Back in the days when I was homeless my eyes were opened to the compassion and understanding that Hookers. junkies and street people in general had for my particular problem. They steered me toward several social service agencies that helped me get off the street. I will always be indebted to those people and always look for opportunities to give them a hand-up if I can. Lately I've seen some comments denegrating these people and that really pisses me off....hence my blog hypocracy three...all people not matter what their station in life deserve love and compassion....it's yp the them if they decide to accept it ....even the trolls and "lets fuck crowd...which mainly consists of kids just goofin around and some adults who want to be kids again...all I:m saying folks ..theres room enough for everybody...not just a chosen few...so lets kck back and enjoy the ride of tolerence...oh oh I hear something....could it be the thunder of trolls...YIKES

You're right. We all have our bad times. Some worse than others. But, I've always found that my friends with the least are willing to give the most.

You aren't kidding, Cabl. I have found that it does often seem that those with so little to give are the ones that offer to share the most.

Of course you are right and we all need to rember that by some unfortunate circumstance we could be in the same situation. My apologys for my comment on your last blog about ripping off the hookers....

What people need most in times of trial is a helping hand up not a shovel to dig deeper.

I've volunteer/ed in many places, including a battered women's/kid's shelter and let me tell you it's no piece of cake. I help because once upon a time someone helped me when I was down but not out.

Every Xmas (as well as monthly) we buy something for the local food/gift baskets that are disturbuted because no one should have to go without. When I left my ex, we didn't have much and someone kindly helped us out. We''re a monoparental family we're not rich but we're better off then some.

You just never know when your turn may come.
