Arrrrrr Mateys, T'day be talk like a Pirate day! Inane you say? Well, yes, it is.. but so what?
Since it's almost over, I'll share with ye my newly minted Poemtry... if'n ya care to read.. if not.. skip me. I don't care!
Since I "Cannot do without" you, I figured I'd do it with you!
And now, without further ado:
I've sailed the seas all seven of em..
I've crossed vast Oceans blue.
I've been beyond the ends of the earth,
So, what's a Pirate to do?
When you've scuttled and plundered
You've pillaged and robbed em true,
You've looted 'em all and you've burned;
Then, what's a Pirate to do?
Many times I've swashed me buckle
and I've buckled your swash too..
I've shown me bum to the Spanish Armada...
Now, what's a pirate to do?
Pass around a barrel of Rum
and a tankard of ale or two..
Sit me here 'pon this bar stool,
Is what a Pirate should do!

I guess I never got around to telling yu about the scottish couple that stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks...it took me forever to understand his accent; hers wasn't as difficult. The first night I met them was one night I was serving tables and Will was bartending. He looked at me while they were sitting at the bar and said...Murph...can ya entertain these folks cause I can't understand a GD word they are saying! I went right at it....and started crackin the fuck up right in front of them...they didn't get pissed...they laughed...they knew no one could understand them....mean while....
The guys on the other side of the bar were on their computers...I called them the dueling pc guys...everytime I laughed and tried to figure out what the scottish guy was saying..one of the pc guys would tell me what he said...funny...they were at least ten feet away...anywhoo....it was a funny couple of weeks with them there and I ended up able to understand everything they said...I guess ears start to get used to the language...weird...but true....
