WTF is with the weather this year? Here it is past the middle of September and the temps are still hitting the high 80's, and even had a couple of 90+ days again. And no real cooling in sight for the next week. Fortunately, the nights are cooling off nicely. Almost as soon as the sun starts getting low on the horizon, the temps start going down. I'm not complaining tho, I don't do cold weather worth a damn any more. But real hot weather, I melt real quick.
Anyone one heard what the weather prognosticators are saying about the winter? I'd really like to get thru the cold weather without having to get another load of propane. Just got the tank filled, 297 gallons I think it was and 500 bucks. Would be nice to get that account built back up a little bit. Last year we got down to literally fumes in the tank during a very cold spell. And I mean fumes, the gauge read ZERO. Don't want that to happen this year.

I haven't heard the forecast for the winter yet. We're having yo-yo weather here. Only suppose to be maybe 70 today but one day next week in the high 80's. I just posted a blog talking about how early the harvest is this year and the leaves and everything makes one feel like it's mid-October already.
Yeah, I could use a mild winter as my electric bill for this past year about killed me. Not to mention I about froze all winter. I can't take the cold very well either..seems no matter what, I can't get warm. With the summer heat I can cool down with A/C but seems I can't warm up in the winter no matter how high I set the thermostat...

My neighborhood is experiencing chilly nights and comfortable temperatures during the day. It's lovely...so you'll get no complaints from me when talking about this forecast. 
Today's weather is thunderstorms and LOTS of rain. We even have a rainfall warning in effect...so it's definitely rubber boots and umbrella weather today.

Last couple of weeks here have been sometimes comfy, sometimes cool, sometimes wet and cool...typical of Michigan in September. We actually have one day this up coming week where they are predicting it to get up to 80...a temp we haven't seen around here for a couple of weeks. We've been in the mid to upper 60's mostly...with a few mid 70's thrown in.
Mild winter? I would love a mild winter. I'd like a break on the winter heating bills too.
