I think you all are getting fucked by the electric companies! Or you are using your plug in BOBs 24-7.

Mine was around $263.00, but we had like over 20 days over 100 degrees. One area where the state is progressive is that we can choose our electric provider, so I inked a deal at 8.3 cents per kilowatt hour compared to the 12.3 cents I had been shelling out...saved my ass!!

Last month's bill was $85.00 but, I don't need to use my air- the house is insulated well enough and with the blinds closed and my pedestal fan, keeps it cool enough to make it tolerable! It would cost less, if it weren't for my flat screen TV! I found out, mind draws as much power as 4½ 100 watt light bulbs- my old tube TV drew about 90 watts- and mine is on about 16 hours a day!
I have well water! My heating and power bill will be about $250 or so per month for 3 months or so! I'm planning on a average monthly bill myself!

My bill for last month is $116. The one before it was $165. Damned utility company got the go ahead last year to raise electric rates.
I'm about ready to get kerosene lamps this winter and use those for my lights. Now I just gotta figure a way to run the computer without using electricity.

Get the florescent bulbs......they use 1/4 the watts as a reg. bulb! Plus there are Electrical strips..that you can use for the puter!! Like This one!

383.38...................and I don't leave any lights on or anythin plugged in. I keep it fairly cool, but turn it to 80 when I leave the house...anywhooo..........that is nothing compared to when I was married and all the appliances were being used and the lights were on all over the place and..............never mind. ...I was thinking it was going to be more...
