Awkward situations... posted 9/7/2010 8:17:43 PM | 0 kudos what's this?     report abuse   onehornytoad69 A month or so ago...I went to the Smoky Mountains. I posted a blog on Part of the trip! This one! When we were coming home...we stopped at a Rest Stop... I went to the boy's room....relieved myself....and as I was turning around to leave...Zipping my zipper up...(Kinda in a Hurry!) There was a Man with His Daughter.... behind me! She was Over 6 years old..prolly 7 or 8....I'm a bad Judge of age.. ! It was prolly the most Awkward Moment of my Life! Now before single dads jump my ass here....!! I can Understand ..truly I can!! Now a days...Most people are scared to..Leave a Child waiting outside a restroom...Especially at a "Rest Stop"!!!! There's way to many Freaks in this ole world to do that anymore!!! Mens rooms are Open....except for the Toilets....which have stalls....! Maybe our States need to Re-think the Mens Room!? IDK! I think some have Family restrooms..., this one didn't! (That I could See!! I was In shock...when leaving! ) But that was an very Awkward moment for me!!! It was the 1st time I have ever seen a Little girl in a Mens room!! I have been at the Race Tracks... Martinsville for one...and Women...will come inside and use the Toilets..That's NP...! Most of them have seen more dicks than 20 men will! I'll use a stall from now on!! (I don't want to leave a bad memory in some child's.. Mind! ) Whats your most Awkward Moment? 	I think mine would have to be wearing light gray shorts out in my backyard about 6 years ago when I used to hang out with some pretty cool neighbors sometimes that lived nexted door to me. There were three 20 year old guys who used to have gf's come over often, and where they would also throw some parties from time to time. As I walked outside, one of the girls (who I think was 21) was out on their back porch by herself. We knew each other somewhat, especially when I had given her a foot massage during one of their parties before this happened. Well, she made a comment to me saying that I have a very nice "package". That pretty much embarrassed me enough for me to go back inside to change to a darker pair of shorts.

	That is a weird post. But most of us have taken kids to public restrooms. If they are young, in the case of my daughter, we take them to the men's room to help them out. No biggie, everyone understands. By about the age of five or older, it's the ladies' room and I would hang outside.

	Maybe I'm paranoid. I'd have to question why this guy was bringing his little girl in there to begin with.. yeah I'm serious. maybe under 5 when they need help with wiping and getting clothes back on.. but after that.. I'd be suspicious.

	Whats your most Awkward Moment? Returning to the topic, I would say it was when I was reading the newspaper at work and there was a story about a murder. It was a coworker's son. His ex-wife didn't have the decency to tell him. He found out when I expressed my condolences.

	OHT, I think you may have read my mind! How did you know that my most awkward moment involved a restroom and a kid?????? My son was about 10 at the time, and we were in Meijer. I couldn't wait so I hit the little girl's room. I got in the stall, closed the door, dropped drawer and the next thing I know, here comes a kid from the next stall over, UNDER and right into my stall! And yes, before you ask, he was totally old enough to know better! Try about 8! I don't think I've EVER moved as fast as I did that day.....and as weird as I felt, it couldn't have been worse for the mom of the boy when she saw him coming out of the stall behind me!!!!!!!!!!!! Really, I didn't think parent's did this to their kids these days, but she grabbed that boy by the ear and DRUG him out of that restroom! I'm not sure if they left the store after that or not, because I didn't run into them while finishing up the shopping. Awkward and funny all rolled into one LOL
