 My Reds won over Milwaukee again last night, and are currently 22 games over .500. We are tied with the third best record in all of baseball right now, and have a three game series against St. Louis this labor day weekend. Hopefully we will wrap it up against Milwaukee with another win tonight, and sweep St. Louis next. Hell, I'll be happy winning 2 out of 3 with them this weekend.
Last Night our pitching prospect (Chapman) made is major league debut in the 8th inning where he totally dominated all three batters. 7 of the 8 pitches he had thrown last night were all strikes. He loves challenging the hitters. He also managed to hit 103 mph on the radar gun.
My Reds haven't been this good since 1995. Hell, I don't think we even had a winning season since 1999. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the World Series this year, and would love to play the New York Yankees.
Now if my Bengals were this good! I do expect a very good football season with my Bengals this year, and predict a 12-4 record, with a trip to the Super Bowl. As far as winning it, not sure. Depends on a lot of things, including the team we play. I'd love to see us playing San Fran. (my two favorite teams), but i don't expect San Fran. to be all that this coming season. So my back-up wish would be us to play maybe the New York Giants. We'll have to wait and see what teams make a run for the Super Bowl.
