It this what is called 'scrapbooking'?
Yes Softie...this is traditional scrapbooking. It took me about 5 hours to cut, adhere, stamp, resize pictures, and place all the stickers and embellishments within it. I also had to bind the book and type out and resize all the dog sayings and captions...along with perform some hand lettering and ribbon and string tying in specific areas. It's all very time consuming...but very much a keepsake when it's all said and done. Since I only use acid free products...you could feasibly hand the album down for many generations. If you're family or a good friend...you get something like this from me every 2 or 3 years.
The popular type of scrapbooking right now is digital scrapbooking. Most photo labs have this option available when you come in to have pictures made. You can do it from home as well (my preference) and it's quite easy to click and drag your pictures into the appropriate spaces. When you're done...you wait a week and ta da...you have a sleek picture book of all your cherished memories.
