So…the last time I updated you I had a nasty polka dotted rash all over my body. Thank Goodness that’s finally gone. That sure was one itchy month. Lately…I’ve been taking it easy. That’s right folks…I’ve become a lady of leisure. Not by choice (doctor’s orders)…but hey…who says I can’t enjoy it right? I’ve been catching up on my reading this month. I’ve been splitting my time between The Forbidden Game by L.J. Smith, Just After Sunset by Stephen King and An Echo in the Bone by Diana Gabaldon. All of them have been awesome reads so far. I’ve also been following some trash T.V. Yes peeps…one of my guilty pleasures this summer has been The Bachelorette. I’m a sucker for proposals and happy endings. And yes…a few of the Bachelors and Bachelorettes are still together...so not all of them crash and burn after their season ends. I’ve been watching some old movies lately too. I’ve watched several of the Die Hard movies, as well as a couple of the Lethal Weapon movies. It’s kind of fun watching all the changes with hair and clothing styles. And I had forgotten just how funny Bruce Willis, Danny Glover, Chris Rock, and Joe Pesci could be. I also fit in a few new movies. Shutter Island was pretty intense with Leonardo Dicaprio and the whole setting at a mental hospital on a secluded island. Zack and Miri Make a Porno Movie was funny as hell. The whole cast was hilarious and I found myself laughing all the way through the entire movie. Law Abiding Citizen and Extraordinary Measures were both great movies. I’ll stop there because I’m a huge movie buff and I could keep naming movies all day long. I’ve also taken some time out to catch up on some old Cold Case episodes. This was an excellent T.V. series that was just cancelled after 7 seasons. Each episode tackles an unsolved homicide that turned into a cold case since it was not solved at the time of the crime. Definitely good schtuff. I started with season 1 and it’s been fun watching all the episodes I missed the first time around. I’ve been continuing to catch up with my son as well. I guess the "love bug" has finally bitten him and he’s in love…with a gal named Max. No…it’s not short for Maxine…it’s just Max. But she makes my son happy...and he loves her so...that’s all that matters. The weather here has been fairly mild for most of the summer…so being outdoors has been pleasant for the most part. We’re having the second heat wave of the season, which only tends to last for a week or so…so I really can’t complain too much. But I will say that my chinchillas see me a lot during these heat waves because they have a blissfully cool room since they have the "super duper" air conditioner. I love my chins a lot…but I love them even more when they share their cold room with me. Let’s see…I’ve also gotten used to slipping in a nap here and there…so I’m completely ruined for any corporate job that may come my way. Can you just imagine me right after lunch? “Hey Mr. Boss Man…where should I take my afternoon nap?” Yeah…I’m sure that would make quite the impression with upper management. Anyway Peeps…that’s pretty much my summer so far. I hope I didn’t bore you too much and if I did…I’m sure there’s another blog just waiting to be read. 	My summer so far has been more work than play. And it's been a hot and humid one compared to last summer's comfy temps. We finally got a break from the heat and humidity this week. It is so nice not hearing the hum of the a/c going. I'm too tired to think up anything to blog tonight....so I'm gonna just kick back and enjoy for a while.

	I love Cold Case!! I hate that it was cancelled but I catch reruns every chance I get.. hopefully I haven't seen them yet but that's not really happening! I'm so glad you're all cleared up and not spotty anymore!! It's just been hotter than dammit here! It poured rain about 3 miles up the road a couple of times over the past few days but not a drop here! How does that happen!?!?!? LOL dang!!! Welcome back Kat!!!

	Hey Honey! I haven't been to any movies this summer, but have watched a few on Netflix and TV. I really like Cold Case. With out a Trace, and Medium. Last night I watched old I Love Lucy episodes...sometimes I watch Cheers or Mash. I watched The Bachlorette this summer and am hoping for good results for the relationship that started. Could I do it...NO! Glad you're better. I know it must have been a challenge. I completely understand those. Stay well..or I will come put mustard in your bra and freeze it during the next slummber party!...something like that. Rain...no....Hot....yes, but it was 92 today and I put on a sweater??????????? Love seeing you!

	I really like Cold Case. With out a Trace, and Medium. Last night I watched old I Love Lucy episodes... I LOVE Without a Trace (I used to watch this with my son all the time) and I Love Lucy. Stay well..or I will come put mustard in your bra and freeze it during the next slummber party!...something like that. Hmmm...I've never tried mustard in the bra before. Very interesting indeed. 	It's just been hotter than dammit I still get a kick out of that phrase. I popped off and said it in front of my Mom last week and she loved it! Told her an online friend of mine says it. She likes it.

Skwirl, Pink, Comet, Sugar, and Bunny....just to name some of the ladies...and they're all a handful. Good Lord man...Skwirl would eat your dinner with one paw tied behind her back! And you want to sleep at the party?!? Take it from me...you better bring your A game if you're gonna leave the party in one piece.
