I was having a laugh last night about how "wonderful" the Lions were doing last night.
It's called having fun. Good grief, if I didn't laugh about it, I'd end up a basket case if I took it too heart.
Besides, hockey is my sport....and I have to wait till October 8 for the Wings first game. So if I wanna have a little fun with the Lions and their losing ways...pre season or not pre season, I'm going to. 
I was having fun last night.....seems some here have forgotten what that is.

Funny you should ask, Straddle. I was just noticing a terrible odor and went to check the bathroom...no, the stench isn't coming from there. Then I realized the smell was coming from Paul Brown Stadium as I had the NFL Network on the TV and they are broadcasting the Broncos game. OOOeeee, some serious stinkin' in the River City. But then again, Denver is playing their first string and their opponents first string is in line trying to get the Super Bowl tickets that you promised.
My 49ers beat Indy today 37-17. I think we can take the NFC West because somebody has to, 8 and 8 might do it. It is possible to make the playoffs without a winning record you know.

As for my Bengals tonight, it's just the pre-season. You should know that. Can't read a lot into these games before the start of the season.

What can I say that is a lame, failed, humor attempt so I can laugh when nothing is funny. Umm...I've got it! The Bungals can go 8 and 8 if they play the Browns 16 times. If they Cleveland 15 times and Detroit once, seven and nine.

Did anybody else see the Colts uniforms that they wore on Sunday? Plain and boring, but then there were these ugly blue helmets with the white horseshoes near the back. Ugh.
