My favorite Dead video

As someone who has been to more than a few Dead concerts. They are legends.

Gone 15 years. I liked the first self titled album, but that was it. It is known that they would not play Dallas for years. But they finally and but I did get to do the show. It was in the late eighties/early nineties. They were awful and boring and the response of the audience attested to it. What struck me the most was that a dumpy Jerry Garcia looked like Wilford Brimley wearing all brown conservative clothes including beige slacks and brown loafers complete with tassels. I'll never forget those loafers.

We all got older and NONE of us are what we were back in the 60s and 70s. We all got older and people who knew us then would probably not recognize us now. I can see why they would not play Dallas. Not exactly the center of bohemian culture through the years.
