I will go with the Olympics as there are so many events and so many compelling stories. Plus, it is only every four years, so for many competitors it is literally a once in a lifetime opportunity.

I love Super Bowl, but I am with Bruce on this one. I could stay home from work everyday and watch the Olympics when they are on.

I think that you're forgetting the annual world championships held all over the globe. While, I agree the Olympics is a spectacle, what of events like the Giro d'Italia? The FIFA world cup, or the Ironman Triathalon? These events and others like them are ongoing testaments to the meaning of the word "Champion" in that they give us something to admire and strive for.

Isn't that more important than "your team" winning or the big contract salary?

For me, it would be a three-way tie (depending on the teams) between The World Series, The Super Bowl and The NBA Championship.

To me...the Olympics are in a different category all together. And since they only take place every 4 years...I usually watch a lot of the events on T.V.
