I have seen all of those once, and I enjoyed them once. Of those mentioned, Major League and League of Their Own I liked the best. But the one I liked the most that I would watch again is not mentioned by anyone. The Babe (1992), is a bio of Babe Ruth, starring John Goodman. Is is not nearly as smarmy as a lot baseball/sports biography movies.

That is a great work, but it is a documentary, not a theatrical drama or comedy like the others.

The only one I've seen is A League Of Their Own..and I loved it.

I can't believe no one (including me until now) forgot to mention Rookie of the Year, Bad News Bears, Bad News Bears in Breaking Training, and Bad News Bears Go To Japan.

I wanted to be just like sassy Tatum O'Neal for the longest time.

Whapper and WoW were on the ball because they mentioned two movies I had forgotten about...Angels in the Outfield and The Babe. My son still collects Babe Ruth memorabilia and I think I've actually seen Angels in the Outfield at least 10 times because my son was so into baseball and this movie came out when he was 8 or 9.

Yanno how kids are when they're little...they can watch a movie over and over and over again.
