What's your favorite 1980's comedy movie? Back in 1985 I watched a movie for the first time called "The Breakfast Club". Ever since then when I see it on I try to watch it, and yeah, sometimes I get a little burnt out with it, but it's still my favorite movie. Most if not all of us can relate to that movie in some way or another. The the question again is, what's your favorite 1980's comedy movie?

The breakfast club although a very good movie with several future stars in it was not actually a comedy. It is classified in the "Drama" genre. Basically a teenage angst movie. My favorite was "Stir Crazy" 1980, directed by Sidney Poitier. and starred: Gene Wilder, and Richard Pryor. "WE BAD"

Ghostbusters!
The breakfast club although a very good movie with several future stars in it was not actually a comedy. It is classified in the "Drama" genre. Classified by whom? Genre classifications are orthogonal. A film could be classified as drama, comedy, both, or neither. Just for shits and giggles I looked it up on answers.com -- they have The Breakfast Club genres listed as both drama and comedy.

Stubbbsy was right I also looked it up the same place he did, then several other places. One place says one thing and another place says something else. Who does classify the movies respective genres'? Strad you make it very hard for us your friends and fans. In most of your blogs we have to make one choice over another. Why can't we have it all Bro?

What the hell does orthowahtever mean? Independent, unrelated. Probably not the best word to use in this context. Generally it's used in that capacity in the realm of software development, where I dabble or used to dabble. Don't have time for it so much any more.
Lair of the White Worm Was that the eighties? I guess it was. I remember renting it with a friend one night, mostly because of the evil looking scantily clad woman on the cover.

Sixteen Candles was a very good movie in 1984. Still lives on today on cable like The Breakfast Club.
