I wanted to post a poem, but I've been having trouble writing anything decent recently, so here is an old one I wrote for someone on here a few months ago.
Oh my darling I know you're feeling down, Set in stone, determined to frown, But now I want you to cheer up, Because here is a poem from lil C-pup.
What if we were to meet on the morrow? Would that end your temporary sorrow? I fly up north, bringing nothing but a smile, Counting down the minutes and each little mile.
I get off the plane and walk into the airport, Looking from left to right at people of every sort, Standing so meekly, a girl ever so shy Come back to life, after that brief fly.
I uncharaceristically waive down a cab, Sweat beading up until each dab. A short little drive that last forever, I go to your door, it's now or never.
Knock knock knock, anybody here? My heart racing, I am oh so near. I hear a rustle, at least it seems, But no one answers my unlived dreams.
I knock again, this time calling out, My voice so timid, but growing a pout. I knock with more urgerncy, Screaming like it's an emergency.
Finally a violent storm reaches the door. It's flung open revealing what's in store. There you stand, screaming "What!" Until you see me and fall on your butt.
You are stunned, shocked and astounded. I am too, my eyes are so rounded. I never thought you were so pretty, Or that you were, well, so pretty.
A minute goes by and you compose shock, You finally get up and overcome the brief knock. Then I reach out and kiss you full on, Lips, hands and tounge, your loneliness gone.
I break it off and pull away flush, Looking down embarrassed, a full body blush. Before you can speak, I let myself in And say to you, "let us begin."
