Who? Oh Luna, I find it extremely hard to believe that you have not watched an Ally Sheedy movie with some of the pop culture movies she was in during the 80's. Those movies are widely shown today on cable networks...

I had never heard of her either and in checking out the movies she was in, never saw a single one that I had watched.

I've never seen anything with her in it, besides she's not as well-known as say...Robert Downy Jr or Molly Ringwald.  Anyway, do you know any famous people who's career didnt peak in the 80s?

I really do like this theme for a blog, but I found this person to be kind of an odd, obscure choice.
Just a thought...as different people have different tastes in the genres of films and shows that they watch, having somebody with a diverse body of work over a period of time might work out better for participation. Examples of people who come to mind could include Michael Douglas, Angelina Jolie, and Robin Williams.

Bruce, I told you why I had picked this actress.
I went back and reread your post and comments and I didn't see you explain the choice even though you certainly don't need to. I am assuming it is because she just had a birthday.
But, respectfully, in reading the comments, she was probably not a good choice. In any event, no big deal. Certainly not worth arguing about.
Besides, it seems that there has been an uptick in people arguing, not sure why.
