Who's going to watch Big Brother 12 this summer? posted 6/8/2010 9:48:45 PM | 2 kudos what's this?     report abuse tagged: straddle, fun, tv, entertainment   StraddleMyNose Big Brother 12 starts next month on July 8. It's hard to believe that this reality show has been around since July 2000. The show did have one mid-winter special a few years back, but it's pretty much a mid-summer affair. Who plans on watching Big Brother 12 this summer? Do you know of anyone that's into watching this show? Bonus question: Have you ever applied to this show before? Would you ever consider applying to get on this show for whatever reason you have? Back in the Spring of 2002, I applied for the show. I had to fill out a long form with a lot of basic, personal, and health questions on it. I had to take a few pics of myself, along with a video tape of me for around 2 minutes, and send a copy of my birth certificate in with the package through UPS. All that was such a pain in the ass! 	I've never watched that show.... this summer I'll be keeping up with America's Got Talent and Last Comic Standing....

	The only reality shows I watch are Dancing with The Stars, which I thought this season was kinda boring after Pamela Anderson left and still the whole season wasn't the best. I watch Bachelor and Bachelorette if I have that day off and remember. In the summer, any day off I usually work in the yard and get my sweat on, and sometimes forget to watch the show. I know it is goofy, but I like it. Big Brothers hasn't ever interested me. I watched a couple shows when it first came out, but never got into it....sorry....

What picture did you send them? Correct me if I am wrong, but as I recall, they didn't even respond back with the courtesy of reply acknowledging your submission.

	I think I made it through the first season and a sporadic second.. It's too boring to watch a bunch of assholes locked up together For a few weeks fighting on camera..

	I've never seen the show. I really don't get into these shows. I sometimes will catch an episode of Family Jewels with Gene Simmons, but that's because KISS is one my all time favorite bands..so yeah, a look into an idol's life is fun.

	..you're the only person I know that watches it. So why do you keep asking? I know of a few on here that watched this show as well. And to set you straight as to why I ask this every year, there are always newbies that join this site almost every day. So it's not like I'm asking the same people. As to why I like to blog this every year. It's simple really. I love to give people a heads up on the new season if they may be interested in watching this show. Do you have to come off so cranky, Bruce?

	Family Jewels with Gene Simmons I have watched part of that a time or two while I was waiting for something else to come on, the Osbournes also. Do you have to come off so cranky, Bruce? I was genuinely curious with my question. The comments by the others explains my curiosity. It's all in how you choose to interpret it I guess. You never did answer the questions about your submissions to the show.

	I think I've seen it. The whole show is about who they want to get kicked off the show next. A bunch of scheme talking behind ones back like a group of little bitches in a click who act like adolescent politicians that really believe their opinion holds water so why watch the show when you get trolls that do it in here. I included trolls for my safety. All BS aside I got caught up in the drama a couple of times then called it quits.

	The instant I see that "reality" only involves very attractive people in these shows, I realize that "reality' does not have a damned thing to do with reality.

	I've watched bits and pieces of a couple of episodes over the past few years and I was always turned off by how bitchy everyone seemed...sort of like it was cool to be mean...or stir the pot. I'd rather loose myself in something else. However, I do know a lot of people who follow this show religiously and they have been doing so for many years...so you're definitely not alone.
