I went out with my best friend to see her son, who I used to babysit, play a gig tonight. OMG!!! They ROCKED!!!!!!! Their band is called Determined, a couple of their influences are Pantera and Mudvayne. Yes, it's "head banging" metal. I wish I had a link to a video of theirs. Anyway, Justin, (my friends son) told us tonight that the band actually got on INVITE from the Whiskey out in California to play on July 18th. 
I am so proud of this kid, (ok, he's 26 now..but still a kid to me.) Here is a link to a picture of the band. Justin is the one on the lower left with the face piercings.
