The state flower blog makes me once again realize we live in a wonderful and beautiful country. I love to travel in our country(when I have the time and money) and visit places I have never seen before. I have been in 32 of the 50 states. Was just wondering how many states some of you have visited and if you have a favorite one. I of course like my home state of Iowa, but do love to travel in the mountain and desert states. My favorites are Utah, Neveda and Arizona.

I've had the opportunity to visit or travel through 39 states and 7 countries other than the U.S. My favorite state was Florida, my favorite place ever was Jakarta, Indonesia.
Second would have to be Pattaya Beach, Thailand, but that was because I was there during the Chinese new year celebration which was by far bigger then Mardi Gras in New Orleans. I refuse to go to Michigan. It's a Buckeye thing.
Having been to both Hawaii and Alaska it's a definite possibility that will get 49 before I die.

I have been to 41 states. Im addition to the US, have also been to Canada and Mexico and owned a boat that broke down in all three countries :/

Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Louisiana, Illinois, Wyoming, Colorado and New York.. those are all the places I have been.. I've flown over most of the rest of them.

Outside the USA I have been to several Central American and South American countries back in the 70s and to Canada when I lived on the Canadian border for a year.

I have visited and stayed in all 50 of our beautiful states. They are all wonderful in their own way.
Favorites?? That will be pretty difficult.
MN of course. NC and Alaska are in a tie for second, followed by CO and WY.
