I suppose you mean the pathetic comedy acts that bounce in and out of here trying to not be funny? They come back because they know that someone will overreact to them and people tend to let their emotions overrule their thinking sometimes and let them push their buttons. And so it goes around in a circle. This is nothing new, every site has their trolls and all of them are the same with a different name. Would be nice if one of them had a different routine once in a while but trolls are a predictable lot as are people'getting upset when they are around. When people stop reacting to them or just laugh at them they go and look for someone else to pay attention to them.

AMD rules also clearly state:
Do not post messages that violate Federal, State/Provincial, or local laws which include, but are not limited to, anything that violates a Copyright, Trademark, Patent, Trade Secret, or is bound by NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement).
Which makes sense. Posts that are illegal are not allowed.
So in answer to the question:

In instances like this (because you know as well as I this is not the only one) where legality is borderline, it's easier to laugh things off as a joke and say "Oh, them...we never take them seriously."
Until the site is taken off line by someone who did. Or until the person who was not taken seriously was found to actually be doing something illegal. There's a whole laundry list of sites where shake-ups occurred like that, and lots of "we met on the Internet and they seemed harmless stories.

Why do we let the trolls play their BS games with us?
Because seemingly we can't stop them.
We can however control our own actions, and not play into their games and take their bait. Oh I know they take some really cheap shots sometimes. But they are trying to rile you up. They get off on our reactions. So, don't let them know that they are getting to you. If they run out of material, they eventually get bored and find a new bridge to go live under. It seems like most of the people here know one another, so when troll comes in, and starts spurtin smack about people, everyone know's it's a troll. You don't even have to defend yourself againt them, because the people here aren't going to fall for it's crap, so don't worry about it. Let the bully fight himself. They will be the one to look like the idiot in the end.

If we're talking whapper/valentine, I don't even notice that person, really. I rarely click on a blog written by that person either....mostly because I don't really understand what is being written and the lack of punctuation and capitalization makes my eyes bleed.
He or she has been here for as long as I can remember, so I'm not really sure why everyone keeps going on about this member all the time
