When I was younger I came up with a song for me and my first love named Jennifer I met when I was 16 in high school in the fall of 1983. It was only after two years I had picked that 1985 song called "Lady of my Heart" and it was song by Jack Wagner (ex-Frisco from General Hospital). My second love Ann whom I met in June 1984 picked the 1985 song "Crazy for you" by Madonna the next year for both of us. When I hear that song today I think of Ann and I and remember all the good times we had. She once wrote me a letter after I broke up with her in Dec. 1985 telling me that she will always love me no matter what. I still have that letter today post marked on it Dec.5, 1985 when stamps were just $.22 cents. I showed Tash that letter her mom wrote me. I was thinking that was a powerful moment having her daughter touch the very same letter her mom wrote me 21 years ago to almost that date. Getting back to the songs...when Tash was down here in August with her bf at the time I shared the song with her about "Crazy for you" being mine and her mom's song together. She thought that was so cool and she came up with a song for her and her bf. The only problem was it was a country song. Haha But hey, that's what she wanted so I have no problem with that. I think most couples should have that special song that was out when they first met. If you had a song when you once went with that special love in your life, what was the song and who sung the song?

Let's see...my love in high school? Can't remember the name of it...but it was from Urban Cowboy, by Boz Scaggs...Love, Look What You've Done to Me? Not sure if that is the title or not.
The next two songs were't really 'our' songs but one each guy said they thought of me when they heard them...one was In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel...another (different guy) was I Wanna Take Care of You by Billy Dean. My ex & I? Edwin McCain's (did I spell that right?) Who Could Ask For Anything More?

I have never picked songs before but I as far as associating songs with relationships I have one: If We Hold On Together -- sung by Diana Ross in the soundtrack for animated movie The Land Before Time. We watched this movie on our first date.

Hmm,,well on the day my x an I got together It was In a room we used to practice deemed the dungeon,,and I won her over when we were working on an acoustic version of Living On a Prayer...First sex together was singin in a bar in Toronto,,took a shot at a song called Never Let You Go (Angel Eyes) by Steelheart and did it perfectly, she ravaged me in a few places that night,,but at the same time I ripped my vocal chords singin it for her,,and was at a whisper for 1-2 weeks becoming the perfect boyfreind..lol..Amusingly,,When we split up I was sitting at the kitchen table playing Tesla's love song,,,she walked in,,,watched me for a while,,,she said "I love when you do that song",,smiled the sweetest smile I have ever seen and said "god I'm gonna miss you", and walked out the door..
