Update on my daughter Natasha and little Alex posted 5/18/2010 4:56:42 PM | 8 kudos what's this?     report abuse tagged: daughter, life, straddle, education   StraddleMyNose I just wanted to fill you all in with the latest updates concerning my daughter and little Alex. Natasha took Alex to his doctor's appointment almost two months ago to check his hearing. Even though Alex is totally blind in both eyes, his hearing is really good. Last week she found out that chances are against Alex in making any kind of recovery. My daughter is pretty bummed about this. The good news is that Alex more than likely won't being getting worse either. With his current condition, I'm not sure that is good news considering the qaulity of life he won't be having. Natasha shared with me last week that she's taking some online courses (I gave her my old computer about a month or so ago, and I know that she's has not taken this for granted. She has stayed in contact with me and I can tell she appreciates me more and more each time) in Criminal Justice. After she graduated back in 2007, she had planned on going for this at our local university, but ended up getting side tracked along the way. 	I'm sorry for little Alex but glad for your daughter. Little Alex deserved better than what he got and I hope that asshole pays with his life for what he did to him. Thank you for keeping us up to date on how things are going. All of you will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

	What happened to the guy that did this to him? Willie will be having served his 12 year sentence since Sept. 2008. He won't be out anytime soon. When he finally does make it out I have been told by my ex (Ann) who is natasha's mom that he has some people gunning for him. Alex but glad for your daughter. Little Alex deserved better than what he got and I hope that asshole pays with his life for what he did to him. Thank you for keeping us up to date on how things are going. 	I'm still very sad for what happened to Alex..... God love his little heart! But I'm proud that your daughter is making steps to improve her life!! let her know that your friends here are proud of her too!

	I'm impressed with Tash that she's sticking to her job of parenting little Alex. It's not an easy thing to parent a child with special needs. She deserves a load of kudos for getting up every morning. Congratulate her often on taking steps to make a better life for herself and her child. As for that low life miserable sack of dog food... can't say anyone in the world would miss a fuckstain like that.

	I'm not sure what's going on here....but I can piece it together, with your blog and the other comments..... I'm terribly sorry about the tragedy with Alex, but it sounds like he can still have a very fullfilling life....maybe not the life he could have had before it got ripped away from him by some fucktard....but a good life. Congrats to your daughter for being strong and getting/keeping her life on track...you should be very proud of her.

	That is so sad that Alex had his sight robbed by that jerk. But, at least he still alive and with you. Too bad Willie didn't get a life sentence for what he did. Then again, from what I've heard, prison inmates have a "code of honor" and child abusers/molesters have a very unpleasant life behind bars when word gets out. So, there may be justice for Alex yet. I'm so glad things are getting better between you Natasha.

	You just keep sticking by her & supporting her. Even when she makes bad decisions. Sometimes they have to learn from their mistakes even when you know it's not a good choice. Gives lot's of love & I'll be keeping them in my prayers.
