theSkwirl
Once upon a time, one mouse said to the skwirl.. there'll never be another me, you can search high and low but you'll never find a mouse just like me.
That's all well and good, thought the first skwirl, because I don't like mice.. so I hope there's not another like him.
Speaking of Mice.. and Men.. how many of you got off your duffs long enough to vote? Hey, if a Skwirl can do it.. anyone can. Voting is important. I think you have a few hours left to get it done if you haven't already. I love Oregon.. we have mail in vote cuz the people are so spread out. You can vote nekkid here if you wanna.. and I wanna.
“Always vote for principle, though you may vote alone, and you may cherish the sweetest reflection that your vote is never lost.”

We don't have any votes going on here in Michigan today. So I've just been enjoying a day off.

I admit that I would be much more enthused about voting in a close election. But here, statewide, county wide, and local, paint it fire engine red. Every once in a while we will have an issue of importance to people that is close and I always make sure I vote in it. I also admit to not knowing enough about the local office seekers in city elections.
What I do in that case is watch yard signs and if somebody has a local yokel's sign posted along with a politician I know, I vote accordingly. We don't have much going on in today's election. I went to the doctor today because I (and many others) are battling our annual respiratory infections this time of year and I simply did not feel like fucking with an election of marginal importance.

here in san diego county we're voting for sheriff, most important. and county
board of supervisors, our district. bulldozer bill horn has been in office for
20 years and has thorughly destroyed san diego county. it is now an asphalt
jungle nightmare. a real hellhole to live in. despite our county being an absolute
red fascist police state, we live in constant danger, not only from the red fascist
police but the corrupt mafiosa who control the entire red fascist police state.
yeah, i'm gonna vote. i re registered peace and freedom party after many years
as a registered republican. might as well register nazis not firearms. and the
minutemen around here make it really crazy. meanwhile apache indians
are in running gun battles every night around here. sounds of automatic rifle
fire in the distance every day and night. partisans in the hills are fighting
for che and castro and chavez. but things are looking up though. fire season
coming up is gonna be a whopper. all kinds of rains this year. translates into
super fires by august or september. is there no escape from 'dante's inferno'???
space? time travel??? how about it skwirl, let's move back to 1967, live
in brittany, france. there at that hotel on the ocean. gas was 35 cents a gallon.
cigarettes 35 cents a pack, gold was 35 dollars an ounce set at bretton woods,
and nixon hadn't become president yet. lbj how many did you kill today?
as the military madness continued. as spies and lies and french fries were
the order of the day. we'll just lay in bed there all day and walk on the water
at night. i was 16 then. well, one good year, isn't that bad of a score. was
it worth the trouble??? lol. all the chemical poisons and weapons in the
atmosphere and water. who slipped who what??? good luck and pluck.

Hey at least it's something you would want to comment on.
She ran off the hog & started Skwirl blogging.
A hog eats up everything. A few missing nuts never hurt a thing. Population control.

Keep it goin Skwirly girl. You're on the down hill side but just in case you don't make it then I guess we don't have to pay our taxes right? As for voting what the fuck is the use. They are all crooks so fuck em all.

I vote by mail. Have not missed an election since I was 18. One year I stood in line with the flu to vote. I might think twice about ever doing that again.

At last, a rational of the common liberal.
