Police showed up on my door to tell me that the neighbors are complaining that my grass is over 6 inches high
We have neighborhood city police that make the rounds to do that. The thing that chafes my ass is that they are tight here and in affluent areas. But on the south side of town in the low rent district, you can have a car in the yard with grass and weeds growing around it and nothing is said.
Hell, I got notice to to clear the weeds out of my alley two months ago and I don't even have a fucking alley. I called them up and pointed this out and suggested that if they were referring to the easement, to contact the utility companies as it is not my problem. I haven't heard shit since.
Than the USB Drive that was suppose to have the video from the concert my daughter was at.....What a load of bullshit..........all it had on it was the songs that were sung at the concert and not even all of them........Hell she already had the songs........and although as I told her....its still a pretty cool collectible from the concert she was at.........that did not stop her from posting on their website what a bunch of lying rip off artists they were ................Ok so she has my temper although most of the time I am so quiet and sweet...

Hey, Ewe... I'm offended... NOT!!! You know what they say... something about "it's better for folks to be talking about ya than not at all." I don't always agree with that, but in this case I accept it in a good way. The way you used it is part of the reason why I came up with my name anyway... lol!

I can relate to having neighbors you would rather not live next to. Try being a hippie living in a neighborhood of retired military officers. I get some strange looks.  Not to mention people coming to the door all the time wanting to landscape my yard. Hey if they want to pay for my yard being done they can have at it, but if not hey I will do it when and if I get around to it on one of my good days.

I can relate. From the blogs lately it seems we should just declare a national I FEEL PISSY party day.
I don't know what the weather is like anywhere else but everything is so water-logged around here that even Zelda is a little soggy...not to mention cold.
I hope ya get to feeling better soon cause if you're like me, this damp weather just reeks havoc with our bodies. Then you have a cold 'n I have allergies so let the I feel pissy party begin....

I overdid it Friday and Saturday so the last couple days I have been paying for it by being in pain and now I have a damn cold............all I need now is hemorrhoids and life would just be fucking peachy keen............whoops...........maybe I shouldn't use that term anymore since I see we have a new blogger with that name..........well no disrespect to you Peechykeen..... ]

I thought that was the ( HOA ) home owners association that get on to you & they usually send a warning notice or call. Cops enforcing grass control is a new one on me. It just seems like HOA would have contacted you before an officer wasted his time on something petty like that.

Yeah the cops will come out to your house around here too. In the city limits it's violation of city code, out here in the county it's a violation of county ordinance! There's a place up the street from me that was a total trash dump, Sat that way for 4 years, I complained nearly daily to sheriff's department, not for the trash but for the meth dealing out the front door. (but that's another story entirely) My aunt and uncle from Dallas bought the property and came up shortly thereafter to work on cleaning it up. After spending an entire weekend working on it, they drove home and two days later got a notice from the county that they would be fined $200.00 per day for violations of county ordinances if they didn't get it completely cleaned up within 10 days!!! And yet it never bothered the county commissioners for the 4 years it was a dump!
