I had to be into work a couple of hours earlier than usual today to help take laundry around to the storage areas where housekeeping keeps the carts. Well..first bit of "fun"...slept through the alarm clock...I woke up about 45 minutes late. That really cuts into my coffee time.
Then, I find out one of my monsters, errrrrrrrrrrr, brats.....ok..dogs...didn't want to wait for me to get up and proceeded to do their duty on my kitchen floor. I was telling my sister this earlier and she asked if I knew which dog had done it...and I told her no because I didn't see the dog in action. And then she asked, and I'm not kidding, "You couldn't tell by the pile which dog did it?" And I told her "No, I don't spend my time studying what my dogs piles look like...I just know one of them had an accident." So...there's the first "adventure" with the dogs today. Second one came when I went out to start the van and let it warm up. (someone forgot to remind old man winter that it's spring now! ) I had put the dogs out in the backyard to take their last run outside before I leave for work. Imagine my surprise going out the front door and seeing 3 of my dogs in the next door neighbors front yard! So, I take a deep breath, and just calmly, matter of fact like, call to them to "come on guys, let's go". Deifenbacher, my German Shepherd, he just trots on over and goes in the house through the front door while Sasha, Tazz,Buddy, and Princess all trot through the gate into the backyard to come into the house through the back door. The board I have across the gate to keep it closed got knocked off. So today when I got home from work I had to fix it.
Dogs....they can keep ya on your toes.
